The Future of Geothermal in Indonesia: Launch Event
Go to the ReportProject InnerSpace, together with the Institute for Essential Services Reform (IESR), hosted a launch event in Jakarta on December 2 to unveil The Future of Geothermal in Indonesia. This landmark report reveals that Indonesia has over 2,000 gigawatts of geothermal potential and geothermal could provide up to 90% of its thermal demand.
The event brought together government leaders, industry experts, and international partners. Project InnerSpace, Geoenergis, and Universitas Gadjah Mada signed an MOU to do a feasibility study on undertaking the first geothermal cooling project in the area.
